Senior Vice President, Controller and Chief Accounting Officer

Christopher Carroll

Christopher F. Carroll is Senior Vice President, Controller and Chief Accounting Officer of the Interpublic Group (NYSE: IPG), one of the world's leading organizations of advertising agencies and marketing services companies, since 2006.

Mr. Carroll’s responsibilities include the worldwide controllership and accounting functions, the global shared service organization, corporate budget and forecasting, financial ERP systems, business controls and regional financial teams.

In 2017, Mr. Carroll assumed additional responsibilities as Chief Financial Officer for the Constituency Management Group (CMG), a wholly-owned segment of IPG. Mr. Carroll is responsible for CMG’s global financial organization, administrative strategy and infrastructure.

Mr. Carroll is a senior financial executive with broad and expansive business experience spanning almost 25 years. Chris has comprehensive, in-depth experience with running global financial organizations, regulatory reporting, complex transaction structuring, ERP implementation and control compliance, forecasting and budgeting, and business development, merger and acquisition transactions.

Prior to his IPG and CMG responsibilities, Mr. Carroll was Controller of McCann Worldgroup, the largest operating network of IPG. Prior to McCann, Mr. Carroll served as Chief Accounting Officer at Eyetech Pharmaceuticals, Avaya Communications and as Financial Vice President of Lucent Technologies. Mr. Carroll spent 10 years in public accounting with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), specializing in communications and technology.

Mr. Carroll is a member of the Board of Directors of the T. Howard Foundation, a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the New York State Society of CPAs. He earned his Bachelor of Science with honors in accounting and business law from Saint Frances College in New York.
