Interpublic and its companies are involved in our communities at many different levels. We support cultural institutions, provide pro bono work for not-for-profit organizations and support educational institutions.
In June 2007, Interpublic donated $1 million toward a development campaign for the Virginia Commonwealth University Brandcenter, making us a lead donor to the nationally acclaimed graduate advertising school. Interpublic's leadership gift of $1 million, to be paid over five years, will be used in part to identify, attract and train the next generation of diverse, talented and qualified advertising and marketing leaders.
In New York, Interpublic is a corporate member of several local groups, including The Whitney Museum, The Museum of Television and Radio and The Central Park Dairy.
In addition, many of our senior level executives serve on boards of directors of cultural or community organizations and employees at all levels lend their time and expertise to charities of their choice.
