McCann and USPS Bring Hippos Home for the Holidays

The United States Postal Service delivers more e-commerce packages during the holidays than anyone else – roughly 16 billion cards, letters and packages. This year, they decided to make this impressive fact more tangible by telling a story about a young girl who sees a hippopotamus and is instantly smitten, and parents who rely on USPS for hippo-themed surprises that delight, even as a new infatuation appears. The “Hippo” campaign, created by McCann NY, feels human and personal while still perfectly capturing how consumers and e-commerce businesses rely on USPS to bring the season to life. The campaign includes TV, Print, Radio, Digital and Social.
