IPG Offices Mark Pride Month

IPG agencies have been busy this Pride Month! In Detroit, following the release of a report from the Williams Institute indicating that 370,000 LGBTQ+ people in Michigan are vulnerable to discrimination due to Michigan’s legal landscape, IPG wanted to support the local LGBTQ+ community and share that IPG is a best place to work for LGBTQ+ Equality.

IPGLBTers from Detroit-area agencies joined the Motor City Pride street festival, and branded the effort “Be You.” They handed out flyers encouraging attendees to visit the IPG Detroit Jobs page. For the second phase of Pride month, there will be a goods drive for the Ruth Ellis Center in Detroit.

Additional IPG Pride activities included:

  • MRM/McCann West marching in Salt Lake City’s Pride
  • MullenLowe, Hill Holliday and Trilia marched in Boston Pride
  • R/GA, MullenLowe and Deutsch marched in Los Angeles
  • Carmichael Lynch will march later this month in Minneapolis
  • FCB and Golin in Chicago will march on June 30th
  • R/GA’s LGBTQ Network hosted an “I Am Pride” fashion show
  • UM is hosting a screening of the Johnson & Johnson and Verizon film 5B
  • IPG Mediabrands will host an “Out & Proud at Mediabrands” program featuring participants in the IPGLBT 50 Proud series
