FCB Aotearoa and One NZ Bring Connection to Life

One NZ has appointed FCB Aotearoa as its agency of record, solidifying a partnership that began with FCB Media in 2022. The appointment follows the launch of One NZ’s new brand platform, “Let’s Get Connected,” and marks an exciting new chapter for both teams.

At the heart of this collaboration is “Finding Jade,” the first chapter of a campaign designed to showcase the power of human connection. The story follows a young man on a journey of self-discovery as he reconnects with the world and those around him.

Crafted by FCB Creative Directors Alan Jones, Angelo An and Hywel James, the campaign reflects Aotearoa’s stories, people and places in a way that feels both authentic and fresh. “This is a story of connection that will surprise, inspire and span years,” said Jones, An and James. “We wanted to celebrate modern New Zealand—showing the people and places we all know but rarely see in advertising. Director Steve Ayson was instrumental in bringing this vision to life, creating what we call a ‘New New Zealand.’”

One NZ Head of Brand & Marketing Katherine Kazalbash added, “It is still early days, but the campaign is doing everything we hoped it would. Kiwis have noticed the work and want to know what’s next – we’re looking forward to sharing more of Jade’s journey, soon.”
