Lowe Lintas and Google Bring the Spirit of Diwali to Your Screen

Lowe Lintas has partnered with Google Shopping to create a digital ad campaign that captures the festive spirit of Diwali through a virtual “mela” (carnival) experience. Titled “Google Shopping ka Mela,” the campaign recreates the essence of Diwali festivities on digital devices, offering users the convenience of exploring a vibrant, online marketplace with a variety of features that simplify shopping.

The storyline follows a grandmother reminiscing about a cherished pair of juttis (traditional shoes) she bought at a Diwali mela in her youth. Unable to visit a physical fair, she explores Google’s digital “mela” with her granddaughter, Sana. Together, they navigate the platform, which transforms into a whimsical carnival within the Google interface, guiding them to the perfect pair of juttis and reviving precious memories along the way.

The campaign aims to connect with consumers by combining nostalgia with modern convenience, encouraging audiences to explore Google Shopping’s vast offerings. Launched across various digital platforms, the campaign uses interactive content and targeted messaging to encourage consumers to make Google Shopping their preferred online marketplace.
