To thank those on the front lines of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Ad Council and R/GA created a new campaign designed to show gratitude for all essential workers, including doctors, delivery drivers, grocery store workers, and more. “Out There For Us” utilizes digital Out Of Home (OOH) advertising space and video to display messages of thanks to those continuing to leave their homes and power American society: essential workers. Twitter and Instagram users also have the opportunity to submit thank you messages to essential workers using #OutThereForUs, with some submissions selected for display in digital Out Of Home spaces.
While most of the world self-isolates, essential workers leave their homes and risk their lives every day to continue providing critical services for the public. Featuring “Good Job” by Alicia Keys, the PSA encourages viewers to submit a short thank you message to essential workers in their own lives using the hashtag #OutThereForUs.
