Deutsch is Part of Program to Employ People with Intellectual Disabilities

Deutsch was one of the first agencies to sign on to Creative Spirit’s new campaign focused on creating integrated employment opportunities for individuals with intellectual and development disabilities (IDD’s)--unemployed at a staggering 85%. During Advertising Week, Creative Spirit launched in the U.S. to create a global movement, changing the face of what true diversity in employment looks like for people with IDDs like Downs Syndrome, Williams Syndrome, Autism, Asperger’s Syndrome, and learning disabilities. Creative Spirit supports job placement at top companies through a coaching model and proprietary matching technology. The organization has a lofty goal: create 130,000 jobs by 2020 at the best and most forward-thinking companies in the world.

Creative Spirit worked closely with The ADVERTISING Club of New York and partner companies to launch the campaign and also created work to support the initiative and target the creative community, posing the question “What’s more creative than being different?”

The program is being supported on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn. #hiredifferent #CreativeSpirit130K #130Kby2020
