R/GA Austin Creates Silly (and Successful!) Snapchat Filter for Crocs

Last year, the launch of Crocs’ new brand platform was an invitation to Come As You Are, and in 2018 it evolved into a celebration of being comfortable in your own shoes. With strategy and creative led by R/GA Austin, the year-long campaign will be supported by a robust influencer program, user-generated content strategy, significant digital/social strategy and media investment and a global cast of celebrities. The branded Snapchat lens launched April 9, using AR to digitally place a large Crocs Classic Clog over a Snapchat user’s head. The idea was ridiculous—and proved to be ridiculously popular. 4 million people used the lens in the first 10 days!
