FCB and Amarula Create Campaign to Protect Elephants in Cape Town

Every 15 minutes, the world loses another African elephant to poaching. This senseless killing is fueled by the illegal ivory trade. This latest campaign for the Amarula Trust and Wildlife Direct from FCB Cape Town is designed to decrease demand through education. It’s called “Don’t Let Them Disappear,” and it aims to spread the message that every ivory product bought and sold on the black market means yet another elephant lost to illegal poaching.

This online film created by FCB Cape Town and Butterfly Films tells the story of a tracker as he follows the trail of poached ivory from the feet of a dead bull elephant, across the plains of Africa, the shipyards of Nairobi, the backstreets of Hong Kong and all the way to an upmarket apartment in New York City. All building to one provocative message: “Ivory poaching stops with you.”
