The Center for Marketing Intelligence (CMI) is the information center for IPG operating companies, providing fast access to timely information, research and analysis.

We are a team of industry specialists that have research backgrounds and provide consultation and support in response to your specific questions. We cover a wide range of industries such as Food, Healthcare, Retail, Financial Services, Automotive and Beauty, and topics such as Advertising & Marketing concepts and Consumer Trends.

Our website, CMIonline, offers a variety of research reports, including access to research portals Euromonitor, EBSCOhost and MarketLine. CMI also manages Spark, an information tool exclusively designed to support prospecting and pitching efforts.

In support of IPG’s Growth Services, CMI writes Deep Dive and Quick Dive reports in support of new business initiatives. In addition, our team maintains the Client Databank (CDB), which provides insight into agencies’ clients and brands. Through the CDB, you can also access Relationship Finder, a tool that searches the CDB for existing client relationships across IPG agencies.

Finally, CMI negotiates with our Research Partners to develop corporate contracts, resulting in a competitive advantage for our operating companies.
