Interpublic Publishes 10th Annual ESG Report

Interpublic today announced the release of its 10th annual ESG report, marking a decade in ESG transparency for the company. The 2024 report can be viewed and downloaded here. This is the fourth year that IPG engaged an external third party to provide limited assurance on certain greenhouse gas (GHG) and employee metrics for the year ended or as of December 31, 2023.
The report includes detailed information on Interpublic’s programs including its Climate Action work, reporting a reduction in scopes 1 and 2 emissions by 66%, and a nearly 30% decrease in scope 3 emissions, since 2019, a continued focus on data ethics and privacy and strategic partnerships that align with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
In 2024, Interpublic was named to the Dow Jones Best-in-Class Indices North America (formerly the Dow Jones Sustainability Index) for the fifth year, and to the Dow Jones Best-in-Class Indices World for the first time, in recognition of its commitment to sustainable business practices. Interpublic is also listed on the FTSE4Good Index, Disability IN’s “Best Places to Work for Disability Inclusion,” USA Today’s “America’s Climate Leaders 2024,” TIME’s “World’s Most Sustainable Companies 2024,” and Newsweek’s “America’s Most Responsible Companies.”
