In observation and celebration of Women’s History Month, the Interpublic DEI and Social Impact team leaned into the intersectionality of how technology can advance and address the most pressing gender-based issues. In partnership with NO MORE, Interpublic participated in the NO MORE Week 2025 Tech Summit, a global online event exploring the impacts of technology on women and violence. By highlighting innovative strategies across various sectors and industries, this event helped attendees to understand how the use and misuse of technology can cause harm in gender-based issues.
As part of this year’s programming, Interpublic’s Global Chief Diversity & Social Impact Officer, Channing Martin, joined the panel discussion “Building Safer Futures: Responsible Innovation in the Fight Against Violence Toward Women” to explore the private sector’s role — particularly that of brands and advertisers — in preventing violence against women and girls.
Other panelists included Pamela Zaballa, CEO of the NO MORE Foundation; Erica Olsen-Shaver, Assistant Vice President of Safety and Housing at the National Network to End Domestic Violence; Marty Hand, Chief Technology Officer at the National Domestic Violence Hotline; Elysa Neumann, Interim Global Director of Communications and Impact at the Centre for Public Impact; and Alexandra Robinson, Gender-based Violence Technical Advisor at the United Nations Population Fund. Attendees of the keynote session walked away with advanced tools and strategies designed to amplify survivors’ voices, strengthen accountability and encourage collaboration among diverse sectors.
