Without people of color at the coding table, inequality continues to perpetuate in the world of tech, the very industry shaping modern society. In an effort to mitigate some of these disparities pervasive across the tech industry, Elephant has partnered with All Star Code, a non-profit organization providing young bright minds of color with coding and entrepreneurial skills, to create a new brand identity and website.

The new brand platform “Hello World” borrows traditional cues from code, such as java script and primary colors, and juxtaposes those cold elements with the warmth of editorialized, youthful photography. The tagline is inspired by Hello World programs, which nod to most coders’ introduction into tech – and into a new world of optimism.

“The agency’s work in establishing our new brand platform is best-in-class and will help position us nationally as an innovative organization addressing the problem of systemic inequality in tech,” says Danny Rojas, Executive Director, All Star Code.

“Hello World” has received recognition from the design and advertising industry, with features in Little Black Book and It’s Nice That. Discover the website here.
