In their latest film “A Spark for Change,” FCB Malaysia and RHB Bank tell the true story of 10 children from Teluk Intan, Malaysia. The small fishing village faces a waste crisis, due in part to the residents’ improper management of litter. Upset by the inaction of other community members, a 10-year-old boy rallies a group of friends to clean up the entire village, inspiring all of the villagers to be more mindful of their waste and litter.
Through a heartfelt story told from the perspective of the young boy’s father, the film humanizes the crucial issue of waste management, and highlights the positive impact of a small spark of action.
