Old Navy continues to keep things inclusive this holiday season by creating space for diversity in its “Happy ALL-idays” campaign. While challenging the lack of diverse holiday representation, the brand has teamed up with The Martin Agency and actress Keke Palmer to create two festive spots “Jingle Jammies” and “Color Explosion” that demonstrate the versatility of holiday cheer.
As part of the campaign, Old Navy has also introduced “Santa BOOTcamp,” a virtual training course that teaches prospective Santas from all backgrounds, ethnicities, and cultural heritages on “the fundamentals of becoming Santa.”
“It’s not the red suit or white hair and beard that create holiday magic, it’s what you have in your heart,” said veteran Santa Timothy Connaghan. “A good Santa should spread joy and exude the holiday spirit, regardless of their appearance.”
