To amplify the efforts from EpiCC (Epilepsy Climate Change) charity, McCann Health London and McCann Health New Jersey of IPG Health have launched “The EnvironMental Issue,” an eight-page special edition newspaper that features a series of articles from leading scientists and epilepsy experts on the impact of climate change on human health.
Created by Sanjay Sisodiya, Professor of Neurology at UCL and Director of Genomics at the Epilepsy Society, EpiCC is a global climate change initiative that aims to provide research, knowledge, and best practices to combat the effects of climate change on people living with epilepsy.
Manufactured with ink grown from algae, pulp from sustainable forests, and wind-powered energy, “The EnvironMental Issue” highlights our collective responsibility in the fight against climate change and further emphasizes the necessity of prioritizing human health, beyond neurological conditions, on the climate change agenda.
The campaign launched on 5 November in Glasgow, Scotland to coincide with COP26’s Youth and Public Empowerment Day.
