McCann New York and Microsoft are demonstrating how AI can amplify holiday creativity by illustrating cherished holiday memories through a new lens.
In understanding that AI is most impactful when guided by human creativity, Microsoft has collaborated with renowned transmedia artist Ellie Pritts to transform unique holiday memories into custom AI masterpieces by using the Microsoft Designer app.
Created by McCann New York and directed by award-winning film director and photographer Andree Ljutica, the campaign features Ellie engaging with real people and delving into their unique holiday memories. Sitting on the street, she invites passersby to reflect on their fond holiday memories — from New Year’s in Japan to Christmas in New Zealand. The film culminates with Ellie unveiling their artwork, creating a diverse tapestry of experiences and capturing the emotional responses of the individuals as they witness their holiday memories transformed in a surprising new way.
