An NHS (National Health Service) study last year found that only 1 in 10 nurses were men, and revealed a stigma surrounding the job, where men can be deterred due to a perceived link between nursing and femininity.

MullenLowe Group UK worked with the NHS to confront this stark under-representation. The “Men in Nursing” campaign seeks to overcome this gender imbalance. With the NHS finding that there aren’t enough role models to challenge the misconception around men in nursing, the ad proudly displays the incredible work men do every day across nursing roles in the NHS.
