Old Navy and The Martin Agency Kick Off SumH.E.R. Time
Old Navy kicked off “SumH.E.R. Time” in their new, nationwide campaign developed by The Martin Agency and featuring Grammy Award-winning artist H.E.R. Through the campaign, the brand celebrates the freedom of a summer without quarantine following over a year of self-isolation due to COVID-19.
The 30-second spot, launched around Memorial Day, features H.E.R. in her signature red glasses, covering George Michael’s hit single “Freedom,” and playing the electric guitar through the streets of New York City. The soulful rock and roll performance was directed by Hannah Lux Davis.
“Freedom to me means…joy, it means just being able to live,” H.E.R. tells Rolling Stone. “…and also being able to do what you love.”
