In a touching campaign from The Martin Agency, UPS shares the inspiring story of Sam Shockley, a veteran who, after losing both legs in Afghanistan and enduring 60 surgeries, just wanted to play golf again.
Titled “Two Dreams,” the campaign highlights the impactful work of Deryck Jernigan’s small business, SoloRider, which provides single-rider golf carts for players with disabilities. As a long-time sponsor of the Masters, UPS seized the opportunity to showcase SoloRider and its meaningful work, emphasizing how small businesses can empower communities. And, in a testament to its dedication to SoloRider’s mission of promoting adaptive gold and inclusivity, UPS has purchased two SoloRiders to donate to golf courses lacking accessibility options.
“Two Dreams” marks the latest iteration of UPS’ “Be Unstoppable” initiative, aimed at spotlighting minority-owned small businesses and making a tangible difference in communities.
