Weber Shandwick UK partnered with international footballer and campaigner Marcus Rashford MBE (Member of the Order of the British Empire) and The Food Foundation to develop a campaign to encourage people to write to their members of parliament (MP) and raise awareness of the issue of child food poverty in the UK.
The #WRITENOW campaign was fronted by Marcus Rashford MBE and involved strategy development, influencer engagement, media and digital execution, and content development.
The launch achieved over 500 pieces of media coverage and was supported by a number of high-profile influencers on social media, trending on Twitter during the day of launch.
