Controller and Chief Accounting Officer
As Senior Vice President, Controller and Chief Accounting Officer of IPG, Christopher Carroll’s responsibilities include the worldwide controllership and accounting functions, the global shared service organization, strategic sourcing & procurement, corporate budget and forecasting, financial ERP systems, business controls and regional financial teams.
Mr. Carroll is a senior financial executive with broad and expansive business experience spanning almost 25 years. He has comprehensive, in-depth experience with running global financial organizations, regulatory reporting, complex transaction structuring, ERP implementation and control compliance, forecasting and budgeting, and business development, merger and acquisition transactions.
Prior to his role at IPG, Mr. Carroll was Controller of McCann Worldgroup. Prior to McCann, he served as Chief Accounting Officer at Eyetech Pharmaceuticals, Avaya Communications and as Financial Vice President of Lucent Technologies. Mr. Carroll spent 10 years in public accounting with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), specializing in communications and technology.
Mr. Carroll is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the New York State Society of CPAs. He earned his Bachelor of Science with honors in accounting and business law from Saint Francis College in New York.
