Jorge Benitez
Former Chief Executive Officer, North America, Accenture
Mr. Benitez is the former Chief Executive for North America of Accenture plc, a leading global professional services company. He served in that role from August 2011 until his retirement in August 2014, having primary responsibility for Accenture’s business and operations in North America.
From September 2006 to August 2011, Mr. Benitez served as Chief Operating Officer, Products Operating Group, the largest of Accenture’s five operating groups, where he was responsible for executing the business strategy and ensuring operational excellence across a wide set of consumer industry groups, including: automotive; air, freight and travel services; industrial equipment; life sciences and infrastructure and transportation services. Prior to that, Mr. Benitez held various senior leadership roles and other positions since joining Accenture in 1981.
Mr. Benitez received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a minor in Economics from The University of Florida in 1981.
In addition to his contributions across the business landscape, Benitez’s positive impact on the Latino community has been widely recognized. Notably, Hispanic Business Magazine included him in its “2011 Top 25 Corporate Elite” list and named him one of the 100 most influential Hispanics in the United States in 2004. He was also featured in the PODER Top 100 Influential Hispanics in 2011, and in 2012, Benitez was welcomed into the U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce CEO Circle.
Mr. Benitez has been a member of the Board of Directors of Interpublic Group since 2023.
