Deutsch LA Elevates Karen Costello to Creative Chair

Deutsch LA names industry veteran Karen Costello its new Creative Chair. In her new role, Karen’s responsibilities will expand to encompass nurturing the agency’s world-class design practice and accelerating the progress of its production service, Steelhead.

Since 1997, Karen has worked in a number of creative roles with Deutsch, most recently as its Chief Creative Officer. Throughout her time with the agency, she has played a prominent role in driving the agency’s growth, working on major campaigns for Volkswagen, Zillow, Target and Taco Bell.

Former Co-CEO and CCO Eric Hirshberg commented, “There are only a handful of people who were truly instrumental in building Deutsch LA, and Karen is absolutely one of them. She was the first creative I hired before we even had our first client, and she was a key leader for the entire ride of building the place from nothing.
