IPG’s SOMOS National hosted a Hispanic Heritage Month program “A Blueprint: Winning with U.S. Hispanic Consumers.” IPG’s CEO Philippe Krakowsky kicked off the event with guest speaker Dr. Jake Beniflah, Executive Director, Center for Multicultural Science, followed by a panel moderated by IPG’s VP, Global Diversity Intelligence and Strategy Adaluz J. Veloz.

Veloz led an informed discussion focused on the importance of understanding the Hispanic consumer and took a critical look at the past, present, and future of marketing to Hispanic and Latino/a consumers. Panelists included Stephen Macias, EVP, Multicultural Marketing and Communications, Rogers & Cowan PMK, Carol Frazer Haynesworth, Head of Multicultural Strategy and Inclusion, Carmichael Lynch, and Ingrid Otero-Smart, President/CEO, Casanova//McCann.
