IPG Hosts 10th Inclusion Breakfast at Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity

IPG hosted its annual Inclusion Breakfast at the 2022 Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity. With over 300 agency professionals, clients, and partners in attendance, The IPG Inclusion Breakfast marked the company’s tenth year focusing on the implications of equality in the workplace, society, and media.
This year’s program, “Wake up to Equity,” examined the profound societal influence of advertising and celebrated the innovative ways advertising uses equitable thinking to drive growth for clients and advance social good around the world.
Following an introduction from IPG CEO Philippe Krakowsky, the breakfast kicked off with a research presentation from Laura Simpson, Chief Intelligence Officer and President of McCann Truth Central, and Singleton Beato, Global EVP, Chief Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Officer at McCann Worldgroup.
Shaheed Peera, Global Executive Creative Director at FCB Health, then moderated “Health Equity: From Buzzwords to Meaningful Action,” with panelists Dr. Sommer Bazuro, PhD, Chief Medical Officer at FCB Health; Dr. Ivor Horn, Director, Health Equity & Social Determinants of Health at Google; and Pat Setji, General Manager, Screening at Exact Sciences, as they explored ways advertising and technology can enable health equity.
The breakfast then concluded with a conversation between top brand marketers Patricia Corsi, Global Chief Marketing and Digital Officer at Bayer Consumer Health; Kathleen Hall, Chief Brand Officer at Microsoft; Aline Santos, Chief Brand Officer and Chief Equity, Diversity & Inclusion Officer at Unilever; Roxy Young, Chief Marketing Officer at Reddit, Inc.; and moderator June Sarpong, TV Presenter, Diversity Expert & Award-winning Author.
