IPG marked Juneteenth this year with a global town hall for all employees. On June 19, 1865, Texas was the final state to outlaw chattel slavery of African Americans. This day of freedom has become known as Juneteenth.

IPG’s program included remarks from Professor Eddie S. Glaude Jr. of Princeton University, and as well IPG’s Michael Roth, Chairman & CEO of IPG, Philippe Krakowsky, EVP, COO, and Heide Gardner, IPG’s SVP, Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer.

Historical perspective is critical for understanding our present and shaping a new future. Join IPG’s Black Employee Network for perspectives and information from one of America’s leading scholars and media commentators. View the program here.
