IPG Signs on to Support Progress on Climate Change

This week, in keeping with its ESG goals, IPG signed on, along with more than 400 businesses, to a letter of support for the historic $555 billion in climate investments in the Build Back Better Act. The letter also supports setting a federal climate target to reduce emissions and was organized by the We Mean Business coalition and Ceres.
The signatories agree that the U.S. should adopt an emissions reduction target that will place the country on a credible pathway to reach net-zero emissions by 2050, calling on the elected officials to adopt a target of cutting GHG emissions by at least 50% below 2005 levels by 2030.
