Profiles in Diversity Journal announced its second annual Diversity Team Award, which recognizes top teams that advance diversity, equity, and inclusion within their organizations. The Award also celebrates the diversity within these teams as they work together to enhance inclusivity. IPG’s Global DEI Group was named to the list and will be profiled in the Journal’s upcoming 2021 summer issue.

IPG’s DEI team has led programs including a Juneteenth conversation with Professor Imani Perry, a panel confronting attacks on trans youth, bystander intervention training in response to the rise in Anti-Asian/American and xenophobic harassment, and a social media challenge for International Women’s Day. The team has also created bespoke content for its Inclusive@Work site, launched to support employees through COVID-19, that includes guides such as Juneteenth: Opinion vs. Knowledge, Manager’s Guide to Initial Responses to Time of Racial Turmoil, Mental Health During a Crisis, and Parent Center.

The team continues to work on new ways to support IPG employees, including a custom learning academy that is launching soon. For more information on IPG’s DEI activities, please visit the DEI section of our website.
