Patricia Hinerman Named IPG’s Chief Information Officer

In January 2022, IPG named Patricia Hinerman, who has been with IPG since 2008 in a number of technology roles, its new IPG’s Chief Information Officer (CIO). She reports to Ellen Johnson, IPG’s Chief Financial Officer.

Patricia is an involved corporate citizen and community member. She has been named a “Woman Worth Watching in STEM” by Profiles in Diversity Journal, a “Top 100 CISO” and a “Top 100 Women in Cybersecurity.” Before joining IPG, Hinerman was the IT Director for Finance Systems at Covance. She chairs the IPG Women in IT resource group, volunteers on the Executive Committee of C-Sweet and advises the founder of Back to Work Solutions on topics including COVID testing for schools, camps and businesses.

A new member of Patricia’s team is Demetri Paneras, who joins IPG corporate as our Chief Technology Officer. Demetri served as Global CIO for Mediabrands and Kinesso, delivering IT alignment and ensuring that global security initiatives were successfully implemented across all business systems. Demetri brings deep technology experience to our corporate team, with more than three decades of results in the technology sector. In his new role, Demetri will partner closely with CIOs across the IPG portfolio, and reports to Patricia.
