The 2023 IPG Inclusion Breakfast marks IPG’s 11th year focusing on the implications of equality and representation in the workplace, in society and in media, and the role advertising can play to accelerate progress. The theme “Don’t Whisper, SHOUT” illustrates IPG’s efforts to be upstanders, not bystanders, in the inclusion conversation. That means being intentional and conscious in the visuals, products, language, and actions we take to push for a more inclusive and equitable world; that we stand up when we see harmful stereotypes at play and work instead to embrace and celebrate the multitudes of personhood.
