Unifying business and human needs with brand ambition is the future of employee experience.

This year, around 58% of Europeans say they are considering changing jobs. Clearly, brands and businesses need to step up their game and find new ways to improve employee experiences. In this R/GA Live event moderated by Ilka Groenewold, Founderland Managing Director and Founder Deborah Choi, E.ON Global Head of Brands & Marketing Axel Löber, Siemens Head of Communications & Engagement, Global Learning & Growth Christoph Knorn, and R/GA Creative Director, Brand Design & Consulting Jessica Krier discussed how today’s brands can attract and retain top talent.

“It’s reflexive, active, ongoing work,” said Choi, a sentiment echoed across the panel, adding that brands need to evaluate their perks and packages.

Feedback is where the “magic” lies in creating positive employee experiences, Knorn said, including online employee education programs. “If people feel that this has not been made with love to help them, they will not use it – and they won’t thrive,” he said. “Listen instead of giving orders.”
